- Facilities to accommodate pilgrims, saints, scholars and visitors.
- Landscaped surroundings designed to create a peaceful and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
- Modern amenities integrated thoughtfully while preserving the traditional architectural ethos of Indian Mandir construction.
- Create a sacred space for spiritual worship & inner peace, to promote community unity, meditation etc. To provide a sacred space for prayers, universal harmony & inner peace to the new generation.
Mandir Significance & History
Rebuilding a Sacred Legacy for Future Generations
🕉️Origin Story
In the year 1950, the revered philanthropist Dewan Mangat Rai Rama, son of Dewan Panna Lal, undertook a remarkable spiritual mission by constructing a Shri Bhagwan Ram Mandir entirely from his personal earnings. His vision was not merely to build a Mandir, but to establish a sacred centre dedicated to devotion, service to humanity and the preservation of Sanatana Dharma. This is by making people study core scriptures, practice eternal values like Satya & Karma and teach children our heritage through regular community engagement, cultural programmes, inspiring responsible citizenship, spiritual awareness, and respect for traditions.
The Shri Bhagwan Ram Mandir soon became much more than a place of worship. It evolved into a spiritual sanctuary where devotees from different parts of the then undivided Punjab gathered to seek the blessings of Bhagwan Shri Ram, participate in religious discourses, celebrate festivals and strengthen the bonds of the community. Over the decades, the Shri Bhagwan Ram Mandir earned immense respect and became one of the most revered Mandirs in the region.
